I was seriously considering complete Windows 10 reinstall too!!!! I'm sure this must have started one or two Firefox Quantum updates ago but it coincided with various other updates at the same time. Flash isn't dead slow again (I use it on a couple of sites) and HD videos don't stutter again.

Websites load straight away again instead of seeming to pause multiple times and taking 10+ seconds to complete, switching tabs is instant instead of getting delays, reloads and spinning circles. It is using much less cpu and much less memory. Now getting 115 Mbps in instead of about 30. I then ran the test in Edge (which I don't normally use) and this gives 110 Mbps. I was getting about 30 Mbps download speeds. I then ran in Firefox and also Chrome which I both use. Ran superantispyware, malwarebytes and ccleaner. After the latest Windows 10 updates, I ensured all drivers are up to data, had clear out, deleted cookies and cache etc. I've been thinking my HP laptop was a bit sluggish lately.
